Williams highlighted a tough Hungarian Grand Prix weekend at the Hungaroring. Carlos Sainz and Alexander Albon both finished outside the points after completing the race distance. Sainz received a five-second time penalty for causing a collision with Oscar Piastri.[1]
The contact occurred when Piastri attempted to lap Sainz during the race. Stewards investigated and issued the penalty to the Williams driver. Both cars continued without retirement.[2]
