Carlos Sainz has delivered a withering assessment of the 2026 Formula 1 cars after early simulations at Spa-Francorchamps. The Williams driver questioned how the regulations could have been accepted based on models from 2022 and 2023.[1]
Sainz stated that anyone who reviewed those simulations and said the package was acceptable needs to review what happened, because it should never have happened.[2]
