Tsunoda steps in again at Racing Bulls for Monza
Yuki Tsunoda will race for Racing Bulls at the 2026 Italian Grand Prix after Isack Hadjar was ruled out with a wrist injury. Liam Lawson continues at Red Bull alongside Max Verstappen. The line-ups match those used at Zandvoort.
Line-up confirmed for Italian GP
Red Bull and Racing Bulls announced unchanged driver pairings for the 2026 Italian Grand Prix at Monza. Isack Hadjar remains sidelined with a wrist injury sustained during the summer break, so Liam Lawson races for Red Bull with Max Verstappen. Yuki Tsunoda returns to the Racing Bulls seat alongside Arvid Lindblad.[1][2]
The arrangements repeat the Zandvoort line-ups from the previous round. Red Bull stated that Hadjar continues to make encouraging progress and the team will take no unnecessary risks with his recovery.[3]
Opportunity for substitutes
Tsunoda, the teams' reserve driver, gains another race outing after finishing 11th at Zandvoort. Lawson secured seventh place in his Red Bull debut that weekend and holds ninth in the drivers' standings.[2]
