Haas Conducts TPC Evaluation at Portimao

Haas ran a three-day TPC test at the Algarve International Circuit in Portimao, Portugal, from 26 to 28 August 2026. The team used its VF-25 car from the previous season. Participants included 2025 Formula 2 champion Leonardo Fornaroli, current F2 contender Rafael Camara of the Ferrari Driver Academy, and Haas reserve driver Ryo Hirakawa.[2]

The closed sessions allowed direct comparison against benchmarks set by regular driver Oliver Bearman. No official lap times were released by the team. Reports indicate Camara posted the strongest relative performance among the three candidates.[3]

This TPC program forms part of Haas preparations for its 2027 driver lineup. Bearman is expected to retain one seat. The test provides data on adaptation, technical feedback, and consistency from the younger talents.
