Ryo Hirakawa is a Japanese driver serving as a Haas reserve and development driver for 2026 while continuing in Toyota's World Endurance Championship Hypercar programme, where he is a 2022 Le Mans winner and two-time Hypercar champion. He rose through karting and Japanese single-seaters rather than the European Formula 3 and Formula 2 ladder, winning the 2017 Super Formula and Super GT titles. He has completed FP1 running and previously held a reserve role at Alpine.
