Hadjar sidelined for third straight race
Red Bull confirmed on September 7 that Isack Hadjar will miss the Spanish Grand Prix in Madrid.[1] The Frenchman continues to recover from a wrist injury sustained during training over the summer break.[2] He has now been ruled out of three consecutive events.
Liam Lawson will partner Max Verstappen at Red Bull for the third race in succession.[1] Yuki Tsunoda remains at Racing Bulls.[3]
Red Bull stated that the decision follows positive progress in Hadjar's recovery, though he is not yet ready to return to the cockpit.[1] He will attend the Madrid race in a support role.[2]
Injury background
Hadjar suffered a hairline fracture in his wrist during a routine workout involving boxing.[3] The injury first sidelined him from the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort.[2] Lawson stepped in there and at Monza, with Tsunoda taking the Racing Bulls seat on both occasions.[3]
