How much do F1 tickets cost?
F1 ticket prices vary enormously by race, but as a rough guide a three-day general admission pass runs from somewhere in the low hundreds of dollars, reserved grandstand seats from a few hundred up to well over a thousand, and the hospitality Paddock Club from around four thousand dollars upward. Monaco and Las Vegas are among the dearest, and all prices change year to year.
The three main ticket types
F1 weekends are sold in three broad tiers.[1] General admission is the cheapest, getting you into the venue to watch from open viewing areas and big screens without a reserved seat; grandstand tickets give you a fixed, reserved seat with a trackside view; and the Paddock Club is the premium hospitality option above the pits.[1]
Rough prices
Prices vary a lot, so treat these as ballparks rather than fixed figures.[1] At a recent Miami Grand Prix, three-day general admission started at around 450 dollars, grandstand seats ran from roughly 670 dollars up to about 1,700, and the Paddock Club climbed past 10,000 dollars per person.[1] Across the calendar, Paddock Club packages have ranged from around 4,500 dollars at cheaper rounds up to nearly 12,000 at Monaco.[2]
Why prices vary so much
No two races cost the same.[2] Glamour events like Monaco and Las Vegas sit at the top of the range, while some flyaway rounds can be a fraction of the price, and figures move year to year, so the only reliable guide is the official ticket page for the specific Grand Prix you want to attend.[2]

F1 has deliberately built a ladder from a few hundred dollars to standing among the cars for ten thousand, so the same weekend can be a budget day out or the most exclusive ticket in sport. For most fans, general admission at a purpose-built circuit, where you can roam between viewing banks, is the best-value way in.
