The 2027 F1 calendar: every race, date and Sprint

The 2027 Formula 1 season runs 24 rounds from the Bahrain Grand Prix on 14 March to the Abu Dhabi finale on 12 December, with a record 10 Sprint events. Pre-season testing is in Bahrain from 24 to 27 February. Portugal and Turkey return to the schedule, and Madrid keeps the Spanish Grand Prix.

The 2027 Formula 1 World Championship spans 24 rounds across 10 months, opening with the Bahrain Grand Prix on 14 March and closing at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on 12 December. Pre-season testing runs at the Bahrain International Circuit from 24 to 27 February.[1]

Dates and venues follow the official Formula 1 announcement and published season schedule; the early-season rounds in the Middle East remain subject to final confirmation.[1][2][3]

A record 10 Sprint weekends

Formula 1 has expanded the Sprint format from six events in 2026 to 10 in 2027. Bahrain, Australia, Japan, Monaco and Abu Dhabi host a Sprint for the first time, joining the returning Sprint venues Canada, Great Britain, Italy, Brazil and Qatar.[1] New to the shorter format? What is new for 2027

Portugal returns to the calendar in June, and Turkey rejoins in October in the slot between Azerbaijan and Singapore. Madrid keeps the Spanish Grand Prix at the new Madring circuit, and the season is again grouped by region to cut freight and travel between rounds.[1]
