2026 Dutch GP Sprint: George Russell wins at Zandvoort

George Russell won the 2026 Dutch Grand Prix Sprint for Mercedes, leading home Charles Leclerc by 1.360s with Lando Norris third. Kimi Antonelli, Oscar Piastri and Max Verstappen completed the top six, and Lewis Hamilton and Pierre Gasly took the last of the points. The top eight scored on the 8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 scale; this Sprint result does not set the grid for Sunday's Grand Prix.

The Sprint

George Russell converted strong Friday pace into a Sprint win at Zandvoort, holding off Charles Leclerc to take the 8 points, with Lando Norris third for McLaren.[1] Kimi Antonelli, Oscar Piastri and Max Verstappen rounded out the top six, and Lewis Hamilton and Pierre Gasly claimed the final points.[1]
