Pirelli confirms C2 hard, C3 medium and C4 soft for Zandvoort Sprint weekend

Answer
Confirmed

Pirelli has nominated the C2 hard, C3 medium and C4 soft compounds for the 2026 Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort. The selection matches the range used in 2025 and applies to the Sprint-format weekend.

Pirelli tyre nomination for Zandvoort

Pirelli has confirmed the tyre compounds for the 2026 Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort. The Italian supplier selected the C2 as the hard compound, the C3 as the medium and the C4 as the soft. The allocation applies to the Sprint weekend format. The same trio appeared at the circuit in 2025. [1]

Sprint weekend implications

The Sprint event limits practice time to one hour. Drivers must therefore adapt quickly to the C2, C3 and C4 compounds. Pirelli noted that the hard tyre could serve as the reference compound for Sunday while the softer options may suit Saturday's Sprint. No further changes to the nomination have been announced.
