Hamilton voices radio frustration at Zandvoort
Lewis Hamilton finished fourth at the 2026 Dutch Grand Prix in Zandvoort after expressing clear frustration over Ferrari strategy decisions on team radio.[1][2] He caught teammate Charles Leclerc mid-race on fresher tires and told the team he was quicker, but the squad delayed pitting Leclerc.[3]
After the race Hamilton told broadcasters he would address the issue offline with the team and contrasted Ferrari execution with Mercedes, where orders were acted on immediately.[1][2]
Hamilton finished one place ahead of Leclerc and trails championship leader Kimi Antonelli by 59 points.
