F1 president Stefano Domenicali stated that the final two grands prix of the 2026 season after Las Vegas remain subject to a mid-September decision. The events are scheduled for Qatar and Abu Dhabi.[1]
Contingency for European Finish
Domenicali confirmed that if Middle East conflict prevents the races, the season will conclude in Europe. He noted the planned events are already sold out but that other locations cannot be considered.[2]
The 2026 calendar lists Qatar and Abu Dhabi as the concluding rounds. European alternatives would replace them if required.[3]
