Pirelli unveils 'FRAGILE' trophies for 2026 Monza podium
Pirelli has commissioned Italian artist duo vedovamazzei to create the 2026 Italian Grand Prix trophies. Named FRAGILE, the designs feature stacked cups and bowls produced via 3D printing in nylon powder. They continue a six-year partnership with the Pirelli HangarBicocca museum and will be awarded to the top three finishers plus the winning constructor at Monza on 6 September.
Pirelli commissions sixth artistic trophy for Monza
Pirelli, title sponsor of the 2026 Italian Grand Prix, has unveiled the podium trophies for the Monza event. The designs, titled FRAGILE, were created by the Milan-based artist duo vedovamazzei (Stella Scala and Simeone Crispino).[1]
The trophies consist of a precarious vertical stack of household cups and small bowls. They were produced using 3D printing with nylon powder, then painted, galvanized, and polished to a reflective finish. The work draws on the tradition of passing a celebratory cup during shared festivities.[2]
This marks the sixth consecutive year of the Pirelli HangarBicocca museum collaboration for the Italian GP trophies. Previous editions featured works by Alice Ronchi, Patrick Tuttofuoco, Ruth Beraha, Andrea Sala, and Nico Vascellari.[3]
The FRAGILE trophies will be presented to the top three drivers and a representative of the winning constructor following the race on 6 September.
