Pirelli Selects Softest Tyre Compounds for Monza
Pirelli has nominated its softest 2026 range for the Italian Grand Prix at Monza: C3 as hard, C4 as medium and C5 as soft. The allocation gives drivers two hard sets, three medium sets and eight soft sets plus wet-weather options. The choice matches the low-downforce demands of the Temple of Speed and supports one-stop race strategies.
Tyre Allocation Confirmed
Pirelli will supply the C3 compound as the hard tyre, the C4 as the medium and the C5 as the soft for the 2026 Italian Grand Prix at Monza.[1] This marks the softest selection available in the 2026 range.[2]
Drivers receive two sets of the white-banded hard tyre, three sets of the yellow-banded medium and eight sets of the red-banded soft tyre. Intermediate and full-wet tyres remain available as needed.[1]

Allocation Details
An additional set of soft tyres is reserved for Q3 qualifiers. All drivers must use at least two different slick compounds in a dry race.[1]
