Monza city council has approved a mobility plan providing roughly 10,000 parking spaces on Saturday and Sunday plus dedicated shuttle services for the sold-out 2026 Italian Grand Prix weekend at the Autodromo Nazionale. The plan, managed via monzamobilita.it, includes color-coded lots with included navette links and enhanced train options. Friday capacity stands lower at around 3,900 auto spaces. Officials aim to cut traffic impact while serving record crowds.
Mobility Plan Details
Monza authorities have approved a comprehensive mobility plan ahead of the sold-out 2026 Italian Grand Prix at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, scheduled for 4-6 September.[2]
The plan delivers approximately 10,000 parking spaces across Saturday and Sunday for cars, buses, motorcycles and campers.[2] Friday capacity reaches about 3,900 auto spaces.[2]
Color-coded lots connect directly to the circuit via included shuttle (navette) services.[1] The black navette runs from Monza FS railway station Friday through Sunday.[1]
Additional blue and purple shuttles link specific remote lots on race weekend.[1] All parking requires advance booking through monzamobilita.it.[1]
Trenord rail services will add extra trains with special tickets for fans traveling from Milan.[3]
Access and Capacity Measures
Private vehicles cannot enter the autodrome itself.[1] Fans must use external lots or public transport. Bicycle parking remains available at Porta Monza.[3]
