Monza concession extended to 2044
The Autodromo Nazionale Monza has extended its concession to the Automobile Club d'Italia (ACI) until December 31, 2044. The agreement, approved by the Consorzio Villa Reale e Parco di Monza, supports infrastructure upgrades and long-term planning for the Italian Grand Prix beyond the current Formula 1 contract through 2031.
Monza secures long-term stability
The Autodromo Nazionale Monza has extended its concession agreement with the Automobile Club d'Italia (ACI) until December 31, 2044.[1] The Consorzio Villa Reale e Parco di Monza and ACI approved the amendment following Resolution No. 31 of June 19, 2026. The prior concession was set to expire in 2028.
The extension enables ACI and SIAS to complete 12 million euros in investments by December 31, 2029. Planned works include refurbishment of service buildings, the pit building, and historic garages; expansion of the main grandstand; and upgrades to lighting, fencing, and hydraulic infrastructure.[1]
This timeline aligns with the Formula 1 promoter contract that runs through 2031 and provides a foundation for further calendar discussions.[2]

The Italian Grand Prix at Monza has a contract through 2031. The new concession removes a key administrative barrier that previously limited multi-year planning.[2] Recent upgrades, including track resurfacing completed in 2024, already addressed several Formula 1 requirements.
