Monza Circuit Advances Infrastructure Redevelopment Ahead of 2026 Italian GP

Monza Infrastructure Work Progresses
The Autodromo Nazionale Monza has ongoing construction and advanced setup of paddock, fan zones, tribunes, and hospitality areas ahead of the September 4-6, 2026 Italian Grand Prix.[1] Paddock, fan zone, tribunes, and hospitality areas stand in advanced preparation phases, with access road upgrades already complete.[2] A larger redevelopment program, valued at around 77 million euros overall with a 40 million euro second phase, continues under government and regional funding.[3]
Preparatory works on terrain, roads, and utilities began after the June 22, 2026 site handover.[1] The main construction push starts after the 2026 event.[3]
Key Redevelopment Elements
Permanent structures replace temporary GP setups. A new 5,021 square meter Paddock Building roof with glass boomerang profile and photovoltaic panels will cover the Paddock Club terrace.[2] A 1,794 square meter Media Centre with 400 workstations, FIA and SIAS offices, and a lounge will replace the disused Autodromo Direction building.[2] A new 846 square meter two-level Race Direction building will include a control room and panoramic offices.[2]
Tribune renewals proceed from the Prima Variante area.[1]
