Answer
Confirmed

Britain's Alisha Palmowski secured the 2026 F1 Academy championship with three races remaining. The 20-year-old Campos Racing driver charged from eighth to second in the Austin reverse-grid race to seal the title, becoming the youngest champion and the second Briton to win after Abbi Pulling in 2024.

Palmowski Secures Title with Austin Charge

Britain's Alisha Palmowski clinched the 2026 F1 Academy drivers' title with three races remaining after finishing second in the Austin reverse-grid race.[1]

The 20-year-old Red Bull-backed driver started the race in eighth place, immediately ahead of her closest rival Emma Felbermayr.[2] Palmowski advanced through the field, aided by a penalty to Natalia Granada, to cross the line second behind winner Alba Larsen.[1]

That result gave her an unassailable points lead. She had already won the opening race of the Austin weekend from pole.[3]

Season Dominance

Palmowski won five of the 11 races contested so far and took six pole positions.[2] She drives for Campos Racing and becomes the youngest F1 Academy champion; she is also the second British winner after Abbi Pulling in 2024.[3]
