F3 finale heads to Madring

The FIA Formula 3 Championship will conclude its 2026 season at the new Madring circuit in Madrid with an expanded weekend format. Championship leader Freddie Slater called the track incredible after topping the first day of in-season testing there in late August.

Testing validates new venue

The FIA Formula 3 Championship completed a two-day in-season test at Madring on 24 and 25 August. Freddie Slater, the championship leader driving for Trident, set the fastest time on the opening day with a 1:50.343. [1]

Expanded finale confirmed

The series will conclude its season at the same circuit with an additional qualifying session and a second Feature Race. The revised timetable includes two qualifying sessions on Friday; a Sprint Race and first Feature Race on Saturday; and a second Feature Race on Sunday. [3]
