F1 Academy marks four years of progress ahead of Madrid Grand Prix
F1 Academy enters its fourth season in 2026 as a credible feeder series. Alumni including Doriane Pin have advanced to the European Le Mans Series while the series maintains strong on-track and commercial momentum supporting F1 events.
Established feeder pathway
F1 Academy, launched in 2022 with its first season in 2023, reaches its fourth campaign in 2026. The all-female Formula 4-level series supports multiple F1 Grands Prix, including events at the Madring circuit in Madrid.[3]
Alumni have progressed to higher categories. 2025 champion Doriane Pin races in the European Le Mans Series LMP2 Pro/Am class and holds a Mercedes development driver role. Earlier winners Marta Garcia and Abbi Pulling received funded seats in Formula Regional European Championship and GB3 respectively.[1][2]
On-track and commercial growth
The series fields 18 cars across six teams and runs 14 races per season with reverse-grid elements. It expanded support for karting pathways through Champions of the Future Academy, backing up to 27 young female drivers in 2026.[4]
