Lewis Hamilton has denied asking for changes to his Ferrari working group or that relations with team principal Fred Vasseur have deteriorated.[1]
Italian outlet Corriere della Sera reported earlier this week that the driver had pushed for operational staff adjustments following recent race frustrations.[2]
Hamilton responded on Instagram, stating he has never requested anyone on his team be replaced. He emphasized the hard work of colleagues and his intent to empower them.[1]
Context ahead of Baku
The clarification comes before the Azerbaijan Grand Prix at the Baku City Circuit. Ferrari has faced execution challenges in recent events, including at Monza.[2]
Hamilton noted that everyone works together and that collaboration will continue.[1]
