The road to F1
Jak Crawford is an American single-seater driver born in 2005 who came up through karting and Formula 4 before two seasons in FIA Formula 3 and three in FIA Formula 2. After finishing runner-up in the 2025 F2 championship with DAMS, he became Aston Martin's third driver for 2026. He has driven several FP1 sessions for the team, including first practice in place of Lance Stroll at the 2026 Austrian Grand Prix, but has not yet started a Formula 1 grand prix.
