The road to F1
Colton Herta is an American driver who joined Cadillac as a test driver for 2026, calling it his best route toward a future Formula 1 race seat. The son of former IndyCar driver Bryan Herta, he raced in Europe in Euroformula and British F3 before becoming the youngest race winner in IndyCar history in 2019. He previously tested as a McLaren development driver and does not yet hold an F1 superlicence.
